Drag Show

A drag show is a form of entertainment where performers, typically dressed in exaggerated clothing and makeup associated with the opposite gender, present various acts, which can include singing, dancing, lip-syncing, and comedy. The performers, known as drag queens (male impersonators of women) or drag kings (female impersonators of men), often aim to entertain and challenge societal norms regarding gender and sexuality. Drag shows can take place in venues such as bars, nightclubs, or theaters and are popular in LGBTQ+ culture, often celebrating self-expression, diversity, and creativity. The performances may also include themes of satire, social commentary, and artistic expression, providing both entertainment and a platform for discussing gender politics and identity.
